Ever wonder how meteorologists forecast the weather? Do you imagine multiple computer banks constantly humming and processing data from everywhere and spitting out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and longer forecasts?
Well the Brits have a system that might be questionable to even the untrained eye. Their forecast for April, May and June, which was made in mid-March, predicted
[...] "...draught impacts in the coming months are virtually inevitable." [...]
As it turned out, April was the wettest month in 100 years. One can only imagine what it will take for May and June to bring their forecast even close to the drought forecast for the total April, May, June time period.

Is there a pint to go with that? LOL
