When Government suppresses one individual’s freedoms, privileges, or rights, and yet gives those same rights to another group of individuals, this tends to cause outrage and a banding together of a common cause. The 1960s early 70s Women’s Liberation Movement became that common cause in America. The battle of the sexes and equality began, triggering the decimation of the sanctity of our marriages, morals, and the destruction of our children. It wasn’t a time of earning and learning, but demanding and taking of what we wanted, but what happens when the medicine becomes the poison?
By the 80s, there would be no more June Cleavers, and no more ladies. It was time to get out of the kitchen and get a job for “equal pay”. Demanding respect, instead of earning it, because women “deserved” it! Women wore pants too, even though the men had spent their entire life as diligent husbands, lovers, and friends, and it was our men that established a history of sacrificing long hours providing for their family. Those noble, selfless attributes were all forgotten, and squashed under high heels, for the agenda that was being pushed by a Government that was supposed to serve both sexes equally.

With this rising dawn came bitter men not better men, but can we blame them, considering all of the mixed signals! Women wanted to be treated like equals, men but women. Women wanted to have intercourse with as many men as they could, enjoying this new “feel good” experience, like their counterparts, and yet still respected in the morning. However, this new woman still wanted to be called, and treated like a lady, and then was shocked when their marriage failed, and their daughters were doing as mom did and telling them that their baby is having a baby, and their sons weren’t “gentlemen” and turned out confused, angry, and rebellious.
However, adultery and promiscuity aside, most states today provide no-fault divorces. The law assumes that both parents are equally capable of caring for the children, but they fail horribly at doing this. In most states, they favor the mother, unfairly giving her unending alimony. Unfortunately, in most states, when a father files for custody, “fifty percent of them are denied” by the court system, hence the birth of the Men’s Rights movement was born.
Is it any wonder that children living at home, with both parents grow up more stable, well psychologically rounded, and with a better education, than those that are raised in a broken, divorced home, then those raised by a single parent?
The Marathon Bombers, Newtown Shooter, AMC24 shooter, and teenage Georgia Shooters, were all raised in a broken home, by a single parent. Broken lives create broken lives, if we don’t raise them correctly! In a study done in 1997, 70% of inmates in state juvenile detention centers serving long sentences were raised by single mothers, because most states refuse to give sole custody to unmarried fathers. 70% of juvenile delinquents, and 70% of Child murderers, come from single mother homes, as well as, 63% of all youth suicides; 70% of all teen pregnancies, 80% of all prison inmates, and 72% of juvenile murderers, and70% of teen births occur to girls in single mother homes. (U.S. Dept of Commerce (1997).
So the Court System has told men that we, as women, can do it better, but we see that we can’t. The fact is men play important roles in our children’s lives. The poison effects our children today, as women are responsible to raise their boys, and it us up to women to teach boys how to be “men.” Now there is no daddy showing their daughters that they are beautiful, so they look for it from any boy! Now there aren’t any door-opening gentlemen being raised, or little boys being told how to treat a lady, because there aren’t any women around who act like ladies, showing their sons what a lady looks like.
We have lost our respect for one another and have taken this need for equality too far! Women aren’t women, or even ladies, anymore and we are passing this on to our children. Women were created to be helpmates, not hindrances to hold a man down! When are we going to call a “Cease Fire,” in this War on the Men, understanding that the medicine has become the poison and that it is destroying our children and creating kids that solve their problems with violence, not respect and words!
