Obama - Schizophrenic Presidency

By Elizabeth Nelson

This is the most Schizophrenic president we have ever seen elected to office.  He makes promises we know he won’t ever keep, and when his feet are held to the fire about them, nothing is his fault, and Americans refuse to hold him accountable. Now, as he’s about to draw the US into yet another war with a Syrian Strike: “I Didn’t Set a Red Line, The World Did.”

Even Donald Rumsfeld was shocked, when questioned about the president’s latest denial and pass-the-buck-blame-game.

This president loves to run in, ahead of Congressional approval, and look like the “Hero,” but then Al Qaeda takes over. Remember when “America lead the way” and got involved in Libya’s Civil war, and helped them with their bully? Look how wonderfully that worked out for them.

Militias are taking over in post-Gadhafi Libya. The bakery in this burnt-out bazaar is one of the few stores that weren’t destroyed by militias that have attacked this former stronghold of Moammar Gadhafi following the civil war.

Sheep slaughterer Abu Salem waits for his turn in line, standing near walls scrawled with curses against the people of the town for siding with the dead dictator.

"When I leave the house, when I see the militiamen, I dart into another street. I'm terrified that they'll stop me and beat me," he said.

Dozens of armed groups have stepped into the role of overlords of cities and towns since Gadhafi was killed and his regime deposed in October 2011. The transitional government that replaced the regime has done little to impose security on its own, leaving many Libyans under the threat of militias that compete for territory and terrorize those without arms to fight back.

"We have to proceed down two paths simultaneously," said Abdurrahman Sewehly, the president of the Libyan National Congress' defense committee.

"On the one hand, we have to work with the brigades because they are the only ones capable of ensuring security in Libya," he said. "On the other, we have to start to create a professional army — but with a view to the long term."

The militias refused to disarm after the revolution, saying at the time that they needed to protect themselves from rival tribes held in check by Gadhafi for decades or to ensure that regime sympathizers did not reorganize.

But militias, which are sometimes acting on behalf of a tribal clan, have since gone on the offensive, setting up operations across Libya. USATODAY

Now we’re going to repeat history with Syria? Are we now the “World’s fixer-upper,” when this president can’t even fix his own pending Civil War in his own back yard, before getting involved in an on-going two-year war, in someone else’s country?  I would pay money to see his reaction to Putin coming over here, and suggesting ways for HIM to get our black youth to stop shooting our tourists, white folk, and yes, even their own.

  1. I even thought about what you are saying in this article. I told myself to never say it as i am by no means a mental health professional. However it does strike me that something is wrong or he is just eat up with Evil.
