Christmas Child Exchange Gone Bad – Shades of OJ

I’ve always found it entertaining, the people that feel more gun laws will make them “safer,” when criminals don’t abide by the law as it is, and we don’t enforce the laws that we have on the books now.

Assault and battery, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon are against the law, right? So what was this Orange Park, FL man thinking when he attacked his ex-wife and her new husband, in front of his daughter yesterday with a, wait, a knife?  Could it be he already had a criminal record and couldn’t get his hands on a gun and our gun laws work? 

Two people were stabbed outside the Orange Park Mall Sunday afternoon.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office says an apparent domestic dispute turned violent outside of the Sears store.   Witness Dennis Henry tells our partner Action News he saw a chaotic scene unfold right before his eyes as he was working selling Christmas trees in the parking lot outside of Sears.

"I saw the guy take out the knife. He swung and caught the next guy," said Henry.

According to Lt. Chris Coldiron, it happened around 4:20 p.m. when the suspect met with his ex-wife and her current husband for a child exchange.

"The child's father produced a weapon and basically attacked the mother's new husband and the mother of the child," said Coldiron.

Henry says he rushed to help the bleeding couple before police arrived on the scene.

"She got a stab down to her bone and the boyfriend got a stab coming across his face and got stabbed underneath his armpit," said Henry.

Crime scene tape blocked off one of the Sears exits for several hours as police gathered evidence. 

"The baby is going to be fine. She didn't have cut marks on her, she just got blood all over her," said Henry.

According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the suspect fled the scene but was arrested moments later on Wells Road. Police say he was with a female companion at the time.

The two victims were taken the Orange Park Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the victim's daughter was also taken to the hospital to be with her mother.Read more WOKVNews

Except for the fact that she just witnessed her father try to kill her mother and step-father and she’s wearing their blood. Something like that won’t traumatize her for life, oh no.

This just further proves, evil will always find a way to reach out and make victims of us all, if we allow the Government to strip us of our fundamental freedoms and liberties. If there is a will, Evil and Malice will always be a way. Just like O.J. He didn’t have a gun, he used a knife; a gun is just a tool that can be used for either good or evil, and only a fool blames the tool.
