Dem Congressman: Americans losing their private health insurance under Obamacare is a 'good thing'

Only in the twisted mind of a liberal progressive would losing existing health care insurance, because of Obamacare, be a good thing.

This weekend saw the Obama administration's latest public relations push to con-vince Americans that what they have heard and seen about Obamacare is not real.  They are asking Americans to believe the Obama administration and not their own lying eyes.  Good luck with that campaign Barack.  You may have won your last campaign, but this one just isn't in the cards or the data for you to 'win'. 

Obamacare will not fail solely because of an unbelievably shoddy internet website failure issue.  It may not even fail  completely for lack of young people participating, but this will surely add to the virtually insurmountable  problems of rolling out Obamacare in its totality.  It will fail because of the total complexity of Obamacare that is driving medical providers away from the ongoing disaster.  It doesn't do much good to have more expensive health insurance under Obamacare, which is the case more often than not, and then not be able to get the medical services that people have come to expect from their doctor, hospital and health insurance carrier.

We already know that President Obama lied when he said, "If you like your doctor, you can keep you doctor" and "If you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance."  It's come to light that Obama knew it was a lie when he repeated the very same two phrases over 40 times.  Now the Obama administration is trying once again to convince people that what they had for health insurance was "crappy" and "substandard".

Meanwhile, one of Obama's acolytes in Congress was out on the Sunday MSM TV circuit to plug the supposed virtues of a virtueless piece of junk legislation that will do more harm to more people than it could ever hope to help.

Rep. Matt Cartwright (D., Penn.) called the possibility of more Americans losing their insurance policies under Obamacare “a good thing” in an interview on MSNBC LiveFriday.

A member of the “strike team” sent by the White House to promote the law, Cartwrightcontinued the talking point that those losing their insurance would ultimately benefit from that happening.

“They have immense deductibles,” he said. “They have annual and lifetime caps. There’s so many people out there with what I call phony insurance policies, and the fact that they’re going to lose those policies, sooner or later, I think is a good thing. Because what we’re up to here is we are strengthening the health care system in this country.” Read more Freebeacon
