Massachusetts Legislature stands up to organized crime labor. Dems AND Republicans vote against Obama's base. Must be due to Global Warming or something. Let's give credit to where credit is due. APPLAUSE!!!!

“It’s pretty stunning,’’ said Robert J. Haynes, president of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO. “These are the same Democrats that all these labor unions elected. The same Democrats who we contributed to in their campaigns. The same Democrats who tell us over and over again that they’re with us, that they believe in collective bargaining, that they believe in unions. . . . It’s a done deal for our relationship with the people inside that chamber.’’

Democrats nationwide are seeing the writing on the wall. Either cut out of control spending or lose their seats come election time. Democrats took it on the chin last November and the job could be completed come November 2012. They were humiliated in the scope of their 2010 House losses and their super majority in the Senate is a dim memory.

Republicans had also better remember they are not safely ensconced in an affirmative action program whereby they are immune to being ousted if they do not acede to the demands of their constitutents.

I could give a rats ass if John Boehner remains Speaker of the House. He needs to get the Hell out of Dodge if he does not have the intestinal fortitude to stand toe to toe and slug it out with Barack Obama and Harry Reid.

We gave him the majority and the mandate to do so and he has been an abject failure in delivering any results.

We are not asking Boehner and the House Republicans to maybe someday if they have the time and could possibly be bothered for a minute and could please get around to doing something if they feel like it.

We are demanding action.

Now. Not next month. Not next year. Not 10 years from now. Not 12 years from now.

Now.

All three levels of our government need to recognize that organized crime labor is not the fourth branch of government...no matter how much money they contribute to political campaigns.

Republicans and Democrats have turned representation by consent into a joke. We are living in an age of domestic fiscal terror perpetrated by our very own elected fiscal terrorists.

Barack Obama famously said he was going to fundamentally change America. 

I prefer to remember a very famous historical quote regarding the awakening of a sleeping giant.

Americans are wide awake. And mighty pissed off.

Democrats and Republicans had better get their shit together. They are running out of time. And Americans are running out of patience.
