President Obama will spend today in closed-door meetings at the White House, no doubt tackling the fallout from Standard & Poor’s decision Friday to downgrade the nation’s credit. [...] ABC

Of course Obama is holding closed door meetings. He does his most transparently open to John Q Public work behind closed doors. But then again, in the interest of fairness, his fund raisers aren't held behind closed doors. That is, if you have the multi thousand dollar admission required to attend. Worst president ever. Period. End of sentence.
The cry has gone out for the inept Tim Geithner to resign over his architectural design of a failing U. S. economy. His failures are also the failures of the man who commissioned, and continues to sing the praises of his work, Barack Obama.
The Pristine Rabble (Sistine Chapel. Get it? I say. I say. Ya get it, ya darn varmint?) is an unmitigated disaster in the history of our Republic. Firing Geithner will accomplish nothing as Obama is ideologically incapable of replacing him with anything other than ANOTHER yes man.
Firing Obama is a far more logical decision.
That squatter is going to pull this out of his firepit just like he has done everything else, because S&P is only one of the triad! If Moody and Fitch keep the AAA rating, then S&P's rating will mean nothing, as the rating is an average of the three. Where am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteI believe Moody's and Fitch will be forced to eventually join in the the downgrading of U. S. debt, as time will show S&P did the right thing.
ReplyDeleteCredit rating agencies and credibility. Yeah, I know.
Whatever.
In order to retain a shred of credibility the truth will out as it always does. The downgrades will happen.
Thanks.
