Bob Woodward, Washington Post journalist of Watergate fame and no fan of the political right is pushing back against the Obama administration propaganda machine, which has been attacking him for his reporting of Obama's changing positions on sequestration.
The Washington Post's Bob Woodward tells POLITICO Playbook that the White House is muddling the facts on the sequester - "a classic case of distortion and confusion."
White House press secretary Jay Carney had bashed Woodward as "willfully wrong" in a column he wrote arguing that the initial sequester agreement did not include revenues and so asking for them now is "moving the goal posts."...
Muddling the facts? Moving the goal posts? Come on Bob! The Obama administration is flat out lying about sequestration and we all know it. Of course Obama sycophants are in denial that Obama is lying, but that is always a given.
"The White House pushback is a classic case of distortion and confusion," Woodward said in an email to Playbook. "We unfortunately have seen this too often in recent presidential history... I do not think it is willful. They are just mixed up, surprisingly so."...
Not willful? Just mixed up? You have to be completely naive or willfully ignorant of reality, Bob, to believe that the Obama administration is just mixed up. Get real. It's all just part of the Obama Big LIe whatever that may be at any given point in time to support an Obama political position.
The Obama administration is confident that they can say anything, or do anything, no matter how outrageous and contrary to fact, because the MSM will cover for them. They will say and do anything until such time as polling indicates that they are on thin ice. Then, and only then, will they retreat from their original assertions, and only then on a grudging repositioning and fall back retrenching.
Welcome to the world of the political right, Bob. How's it feel to be attacked on a personal basis by the likes of Jay "Clown" Carney, accusing you of being "willfully wrong" in your reporting?
