Tea Time With RINO Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)

Mr. Flip-flop is at it again. Some days McConnell stands with the Tea Party, some days he’s dead set against them. I guess Saturday was one of the latter.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says he isn't worried about tea party-backed candidates challenging GOP incumbents in this year's midterm elections.

"I think we are going to crush them everywhere," McConnell told the New York Times in an interview published Saturday. "I don't think they are going to have a single nominee anywhere in the country."

McConnell is one of several senators facing tea party opposition in their primary races this spring. McConnell's main opponent is Kentucky businessman Matt Bevin, who has spent the campaign attacking the senator's conservative credentials. As the Associated Press reported last month, McConnell and other GOP incumbents have started to come out aggressively against these candidates, using opposition research to undermine them...  

The country's in the worst shape it's been in since the Great Depression. Epic unemployment, poverty, foreclosures, 50+ million on food stamps, multiple new wars in the making, corporations more powerful than ever, the medical system imploding under Obamacare....you get the picture.

And the establishment GOP is more concerned about winning than about turning anything around.

Winning what exactly? Do they like what they see? Do they like the results of the failing collectivism they vote to support? As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. And I have yet to see any proof that the platform and policies of the Left have made any lasting improvements in this country. And with the likes of McConnell and all the other RINOs high on perks, pork, and power, I don’t see that the current Republican policies are any better.  It’s time for sweeping changes come November.

A personal message to Senator McConnell from me:

If there’s one thing you don’t want to do as a GOP incumbent, its piss off the Tea Party. They may not have Rove’s giant sacks of money backing them or the mainstream media lickspittles covering their butts at every turn, but they have a doggedness that you would be a fool to underestimate. Want proof?  It’s called 2010. Bring. It. On.
