Pious Nancy Pelosi invokes humanitarian need to meet and greet illegal immigrants pouring into Texas

By Rob Janicki

Saturday was another day to display Nancy Pelosi's delusional political views.  This time Pelosi invoked a religious sense of concern for the illegal immigrants from Central America pouring over the border from Mexico into Texas along the Rio Grande River.

I find it interesting that Pelosi, self proclaimed devout Roman Catholic, who, in the face of contrary church doctrine, actively supports abortion as a woman's right ind now wants us to believe that the border crisis is a humanitarian event that we, the United States, are solely responsible for remediating.  What about Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, Nancy?  Have they no responsibility for this humanitarian crisis?

Specifically, what about the Mexican government, which seems to be directing this traffic of illegal immigrants to the shortest means to enter the United States?  The Mexican government is facilitating the violation of U.S. law with no repercussions from the Obama administration.

Apparently it's more important for the politicians of both parties in Washington, D.C. to get home for the 4th of July holiday, than to remain in session to facilitate a solution to this horrendous situation.  But that's what we have come to accept from Washington, D.C..  Dithering and leading from behind seems to be the hallmark of the Obama administration and their brain dead sycophants in Congress.  The Republican establishment doesn't seem to be far behind in this dithering.  Thus, they are as guilty as anyone.

But it gets even worse.

Pelosi explained, "We are all Americans -- north and south in this hemisphere," and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity "to be helpful." She also said she wished she could simply "take home" the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.

It appears that Pelosi is deeply enthralled with the concept of 'global government' since she has alluded to a concept that is anathema to American law and the understanding of national sovereignty.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, in the past fiscal year more than 47,000 unaccompanied children have crossed the border into the United States through Mexico with the majority coming from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

This situation will continue unabated since President Obama has no plans whatsoever to remediate the situation, except to provide even more hospitality centers around the southwest to accommodate these adolescent and juvenile 'tourists' to America.

One definition of a sovereign nation is its ability to control its national borders.  Since America, or more precisely President Obama, refuses to close our borders to illegal immigrants, is America any longer a sovereign nation among real sovereign nation states?
