Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Monday urged Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to ditch members of the Tea Party and cut a deal with Democrats to avert a government shutdown.

So shut it down. It would be on the shoulders of team Obama. They are responsible for the Dem controlled Senate. The president of the U.S. is the head of his party. And it's time for this party to end.
Of course Harry wants the GOP to ditch the Tea Party. Harry has no plans to cut ANY spending. The Dem's refuse to agree to small cuts that would defund cherished Dem/Lib/Prog stalwarts, NPR and Planned Parenthood. What makes anyone think they would be amenable to even consider significant cuts in spending elsewhere?
Screw Harry Reid. It's time for a show down. Do the Republicans have the cojones to shoot it out?
