Low life bottom feeding schmuck Eliot Spitzer, former NY
Governor and NY Attorney General has made it official. He and his
estranged wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, are divorcing after a week of speculation.
Ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer and his wife, who stood by him after his prostitution scandal, are finally getting a divorce.
“We regret that our marital relationship has come to an end and we have agreed not to make any other public statement on this subject,” Mr. Spitzer and Silda Wall Spitzer said in a joint statement this evening.
The Christmas Eve announcement comes two days afternews broke that Mr. Spitzer is currently dating Lis Smith, Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio’s chief spokeswoman. Ms. Smith also worked for Mr. Spitzer during his failed comptroller campaign this summer. News of the relationship has been plastered on the front pages of the city’s two tabloids all week. Earlier this year Spitzer failed in his attempt to run for New
York City Comptroller. Spitzer couldn't even make it past the Democratic
primary. Spitzer's arrogance and hubris are unmatched in modern politics.
It would seem that Spitzer and Anthony Weiner are cut from the same
cloth, as both of them are ethically and morally challenged.
Here's a photo of Spitzer and his wife Silda in better days.
Then again, he doesn't look too happy even then. Shed no tears for
Silda Wall Spitzer. She's a high profile corporate lawyer, so she won't
be holding a fund raiser to make ends meet, any time soon. They do have
three children, however, that will have to live down their father's deplorable
public behavior. Way to go Eliot.
