HERE is a link that provides a photo retrospective of the L.A. riots 20 years ago. It could happen again. The only questions would be when and under what circumstances. It could be a hot summer before this year's presidential election. Will the May 1st Occupy Wall Street scheduled protest events in NYC and San Francisco become the flash point resulting in violence on the scale of the L.A. riots? We should have an insight into this possibility beginning Tuesday, May 1st.
Robert - we get up every morning and thank God we live in a little pocket of sanity and feel fairly safe. I would not want to live in any big city in this country right now. There will be riots and we know who will start them.

I wonder what Villaregosa is going to do when his city heats up. I'm sure Maxine Waters will be on hand to lend her talents to make things worse. The tipping point in LA - where will it be? Where will it be in San Francisco?
