You know, Obamaramadingdong just really infuriates, sickens, upsets, and thoroughly disgusts me with his lack of character, compassion, or concern. We have 7 dead Marines as of last night and what is his Imperial Highness doing? Tweeting pics of 'snack time'.
President Obama is still so fixated on fundraising and divisive campaign tactics that major tragedies and world crises get ignored.
At 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, the @BarackObama Twitter feed posted a tweet that said “Snack time” along with a photo of two small children picking up apples from a bowl in the Oval Office.
First Lady Michelle Obama, who has been on a national media tour to discuss childhood obesity, is shown sitting with the toddlers in the photo, holding her own apple. The infamous White House branded M&M boxes are, of course, nowhere to be found.

The feed is managed by Organizing for Action, which took over high-dollar fundraising after Obama for America won its final election. It’s run by Mr. Obama’s former campaign guru Jim Messina.
An hour earlier, @BarackObama posted an attack on a supposed congressional Republican effort to cut education spending. It asked people to retweet if they agreed with the point, but gave no explanation for what “severe cuts” were up for debate.
While the president is tweeting about apples and political fights, the families of seven marines tragically killed Monday in a training exercise are mourning their loss.
Well, 'snack time' is just fitting for this infantile little cur. Meanwhile, in the other part of town, Dingy Harry Reid is taking this opportunity to play politics on the backs of our nation's finest - by blaming the sequester for the Marines' deaths.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation. The investigation will focus on whether the Marines followed procedures to properly fire the weapon, whether there was a malfunction in the firing device or in the explosive mortar itself, the official said.
Ah, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid already knows the true culprit: sequestration. Courtesy of RealClearPolitics, here’s what he said on the Senate floor Tuesday morning:

Mr. President, it’s very important we continue training our military, so important. But one of the things in sequester is we cut back in training and maintenance. That’s the way sequester was written. Now, the bill that’s on the floor, we hope to pass today helps that a little bit. At least in the next six months, it allows the military some degree of ability to move things around a little bit. Flexibility, we call it, and that’s good. But we have to be very vigilant. This sequester should go away. We have cut already huge amounts of money in deficit reduction. It’s just not appropriate, Mr. President, that our military can’t train and do the maintenance necessary.
These men and women, our Marines were training there in Hawthorne. And with this sequester, it’s going to cut back this stuff. I just hope everyone understands the sacrifices made by our military. They are significant, being away from home, away from families, away from their country.
So there's one of two ways you can look at it: either we need to raise taxes & raise spending because the sequestration will lead to subpar training OR the sequestration is the direct cause of this accident. Either way, Dingy Harry looks like a buffoon and rightly so.
The Marine Corps is not happy, according to NBC News reporter Jim Miklaszewski (once again by way of RealClearPolitics):
Now I can tell you, Marine Corps officials this afternoon are taking a strong exception to what Harry Reid implied. Saying that this this exercise, for example, was planned well in advance, had nothing to do with the budget cuts. There were no corners cut, and if they couldn’t afford to have all the safety precautions into place, they wouldn’t do the exercise.
And in fact, one Marine Corps official told us a short time ago that he considers this nothing but pure political posturing on the backs of these dead Marines.
Preach it, Devil Dogs! And let's not forget that Dingy Harry and his ilk are happily sending Pakistan $37M in foreign aid for education purposes, yet they are gutting their own military. What's even more infuriating is that Obamaramadingdong still has $2B in stimulus money, sitting in a slush fund, untouched by the sequester.
Obama can have his 'snack time' and Moochelle can have her 50th birthday bash -complete with Beyonce and Adele - while taking endless trips that cost the taxpayers $175K+ per hour on Air Force One. Yet our military men and women are being neglected and gutted.
Your first and foremost job, Mr President, is to protect the United States citizens and their interests. By consistently spitting in the face of our military heroes who do more before 5 a.m. than you certainly do all day {since your schedule doesn't usually show you up any earlier than 10 a.m.}, you show your disdain; yet you reach out willingly to our enemies. You feign compassion which we see through. Benghazi was on fire and our citizens were being murdered - and what did you do? Jet off to Las Vegas for a campaign stop. {Righteous indignation alert} WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, MR PRESIDENT? WE HAVE 7 DEAD MARINES - IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S WAR TIME OR PEACE TIME. BE A FRICKING LEADER AND STAND UP AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE WAS A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT THAT TOOK THEIR LIVES. STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT & ACTUALLY DO SOME WORK FOR A CHANGE. LIFE IS MORE THAN SOCIAL NETWORKING & GOLFING.
For someone who constantly says 'he will not rest until...', he's got more energy to do more useless things than anybody I've ever seen.
RIP and Semper Fi, Marines. America appreciates you. I just wish our president and your CIC would take his job as seriously as you take yours.
