I have an idea. Since Cecile Richards hates religious Americans so much, Planned Parenthood should demand all the millions of dollars in annual funding they receive from taxpayers exclude money the govt collects in taxes from people of faith.

I am sorry to say that Nebraska Right to Life will not be purchasing the two tickets we normally do for your Senators’ Recognition Dinner on February 28th. The invitation which we received in the mail states that as part of the dinner this year, “the Nebraska Republican Party will host a small silent auction of special items, with proceeds donated to Susan G. Komen of Nebraska for breast cancer research.”
Due to the flap which ensued last February when the national Susan G. Komen Foundation initially announced it would stop funding Planned Parenthood, but then reinstated that funding within a few days, National Right to Life and its State Affiliates have encouraged donors to fund several other breast cancer research organizations which do not have ties to the largest provider and promoter of abortions in the U.S. We understand that your silent auction donations are intended for the Nebraska affiliate of Susan G. Komen which may not have any funding going to Planned Parenthood but the fact remains that the State Affiliate has ties to the National Susan G. Komen Foundation.
This does not send a consistent message when the Republican National Committee just voted at its meeting last week to promote legislative avenues to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

The Latest Excuse for Population Control: Terrorists

Here it is again. That nasty theory that certain populations (i.e. people of color) need to be culled at any cost, using “drastic” measures, is being touted on the webpages of the respected journal Foreign Policy.
The excuse this time is to reduce terrorists. And the target is people in Mali – the very people who are suffering from terrorists.
Roger Howard writes in “Mali’s 2.5 Percent Problem: The real reason the Sahel is awash with terrorists? Rapid population growth
“Yet, in the aftermath of the Algerian attacks and the insurgency in Mali, expect to hear an overwhelming silence about the population issue . . .The taboo that continues to surround the issue of population control needs to be cast aside. New, and highly drastic, means of curbing the rate of growth have to be devised and put into practice if this dire threat to regional and international stability is ever to be averted.”
Turns out that Roger Howard is with Population Matters, a notorious population control group. Apparently he hasn’t gotten the memo that population control is not only out of style, its tactics earned it a reputation as evil human rights abuse. Roger’s article validates that reputation... READ MORE

FDA: No need to regulate morning after pill dispenser at PA college - student council said it's okay

Shippensburg University - a relatively small college of some 8300 students in the Cumberland Valley of PA. The town itself only has about 5531 residents. Perhaps the reason is the morning after pill that's readily available on campus in a vending machine - great for population control.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration won't take any regulatory action over a vending machine at a Pennsylvania college that dispenses the morning-after pill.
The pill is available for $25 at a health center vending machine that's accessible to students and university employees.
Administrators said the idea for the machine came from a student survey and was endorsed by the student government.
Well, there you go. The students wanted it and the student government said OK, end of discussion. Sounds like a sane process to me. Kind of like your kids saying they want a weekly $50 allowance, they voted on it, so gimme.
Not only does it dispense the pill, it also dispenses condoms, pregnancy tests, and decongestants. It seems to me if it just dispensed condoms, you probably wouldn't need the pill or the pregnancy tests. The decongestants is a mystery - I know when I think of birth control, my mind goes to a persons nasal passages. Maybe it's used as a form of a date drug that lulls the partner to sleep so that you can have your way with them.
The other thing here is it's available to university employees. It just sounds odd in pointing that out in the article. Makes it sound like quite a swinging campus. And with both students and faculty having access to birth control, I wonder how many hot-for-teacher episodes there have been.
At least one notable alumnus is against it.
“It’s the wrong thing to do in my judgment. I don’t think it’s a good idea,” Rep. John Kline, Minnesota Republican and chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, said in an interview with editors and reporters at The Washington Times.
“The idea that you put it out there and say, ‘Well, most of our students are over 17, so probably no kids will come in here.’ … It’s a very, very bad move,” he said.
The school claims that the machine is monitored by a health center attendant so not just anybody can buy them. Yeah, and there's never been a Brinks courier that's ever robbed a bank or a nurse that's ever distributed drugs to a minor. And they say it's not encouraging sexual activity. Then why have it? Why not say sexual activity on campus will not be tolerated, period. Stimulus is a powerful thing. If you see it in front of you, your mind is thinking of how to get it or use it. Geez, I'd think a school of higher learning would get that.

Forty years ago, the Supreme Court decided that the Texas law that prevented Jane Roe from ending the life of her unborn daughter was unconstitutional. But by the time the Supreme Court issued its decision in 1973, she had already been born and adopted by a family—likely not knowing that all that ink spilled in Roe v. Wade was about her.
Norma McCorvey is “Jane Roe.” She claimed then that her pregnancy was the result of a rape, although for over a decade now she has been outspokenly pro-life and publicly admitted that this, and virtually every fact on which her case was built, was a lie. Both McCorvey and Sandra Cano, the Doe of Doe v. Bolton—Roe’s companion case from Georgia decided the same day—are nowoutspoken pro-life advocates who have sworn that their cases are built on lies...
Touré finally thanks God & country...for abortion

From the liberal mind comes this piece of work by Touré. During MSNBC's The Cycle, Touré celebrated the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade by regaling the audience with his tale of abortion some 15 years ago with a former girlfriend.
“In some ways that choice saved my life,” Toure said.
So let's not talk about the life you took, let's talk about how your irresponsibility landed you in a situation that you didn't want to face so you decided your ability to sleep around and party was a little more important than your unfortunate 'mistake'. I'm so glad your life was saved through this process - that was more important. We are so much better off having you be able to insult our senses with your daily babble rather than have to help what could've been a prospective A student and the next Einstein get ready for their first prom or first date.
Yet she was 'the one' that was good enough to have sex with - and I'm assuming no birth control was in the equation - and take a chance with so that you could get your jollies. What happened here is that 2 of those lives were obviously already a mess and couldn't control themselves or have the foresight to know what could happen. You would've been in your mid 20s then so you should've been smarter. So abortion didn't make a mess of that 3rd life, huh?
Here's brilliant statement #3:
“I thank God and country that when I fell into a bad situation, abortion was there to save me and keep me on a path toward building a strong family I have now. And I pray that safety net stays in place,” Toure said.
You didn't fall into a bad situation. Falling into a bad situation is having your spouse unexpectedly die, losing your job out of the blue. You did the nasty and used abortion as a magic eraser. How has that made you build a stronger family? You already wiped out one potential family 15 years earlier. Killing an innocent human being isn't a 'safety net' - it's a travesty. I'm sure murdered babies everywhere are so thankful they could be YOUR safety net so that YOU could pursue YOUR life and YOUR dreams.
Being able to choose to have an abortion makes for a “stronger America,” he concluded.
How exactly does killing a child make America stronger? In what universe does that even make sense? A stronger America is built upon the family unit, generation after generation. Killing people off does nothing but make the population go down, provides for an atmosphere of wanton behavior, and negates personal responsibility. This situation could've turned out so much better for 3 people - and possibly more. There is such a thing as adoption. Thousands of couples and singles are looking to adopt, both here and around the world and for various reasons: some can't have children, some don't want to be married to have a child, some have their own children but love kids so much that they want to give good homes to children in need.
I know, I know, they like to call them a 'fetus'. Well, that's a nice medical term and just another way of desensitizing society to push the abortion agenda. If it sounds all scientific and something made in a laboratory, then it's not a human being. Sorry but I had 2 human children, not science experiments. Anything with a beating heart growing inside of a human womb is another human being. And the other argument that 'it's not viable because it can't live outside of the womb without help' is bogus as well. Guess what? My newborns couldn't live outside of the womb by themselves either and they were fully formed and born and considered babies. Your argument kind of falls apart then, doesn't it?

There are about 1.3M abortions every year in the U.S. This is a personal issue for my family and at some time I might relate that story. For someone to callously abort a child and have no second thoughts about it is a monster with no soul. I've seen the affects, mentally and spiritually, after 30 years. It doesn't go away for those that realize too late how utterly selfish and self-serving they were in their decision. I think we can figure out which camp Touré falls into.

Massive attendance for today's March for Life

More than 500,000 people are attending today’s March for Life in a massive attendance that could be well higher than that estimate and set records for the annual pro-life event challenging the mantra of unlimited abortion.
Typically held on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions at any point in pregnancy for any reason, the march for Life typically sees anywhere from 250,000 to 500,000 people lining the streets towards the Supreme Court building.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Pushing Bill for 3rd-Term Abortions

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is pushing a bill in the New York state legislature that pro-life advocates are aggressively opposing. They say the so-called Reproductive health bill is the “the most sweeping abortion legislation in the nation” because it would lift limits on third-trimester abortions and allow non-physicians to do abortions.
“Gov. Cuomo’s bill elevates abortion to a fundamental right and says New York state can’t discriminate on abortion in benefits or services or anything else it provides,” said Kathleen Gallagher, the New York’s Catholic Conference director of pro-life activities.
“Cuomo’s legislation, she said, would make illegal abortion restrictions, such as parental-notification laws, informed-consent laws, restrictions on taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion bans of any kind,” she said in an interview...

Michelle Obama's bangs are beginning to grow on me
Michelle's new hairstyle does indeed flatter her. She is positively radiant in this picture of her and baby killer Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards taken at the gate of the White House.
Cecile attended church services this morning with Barack. I'll bet they were praying for the children. Because it's all about the children with Richards and the Obama's.
