Yes we can...change the venue for BOs speech for lack of an audience

By Correctamundo

It is painfully clear that Dear Leader doesn't have the supporters to fill the 74,000 seat stadium that he vowed to fill earlier. And of course, it's all spin.

Speaking at a background briefing for the press, a Democratic official said that the speech would be given in the stadium ‘rain or shine’ before quickly adding a major caveat.  'We do have a contingency plan, though, for lightning or other severe weather,' he said. 'We don't want to put anyone in harm's way so that's really what we're looking for, not if it's going to rain but if it's going to be really bad.'

So they've already decided that there's going to be lightning ahead of time.  This is all sounding too much like an excuse to avoid major embarassment. It was just a couple weeks ago that an Obama aide said"We have plenty of time for big rallies,” Psaki said earnestly. "Our focus right now is on exciting our supporters and winning over undecided voters and the smaller and medium-size events are the best venue to accomplish that because the president can closely engage with the crowd.”

Isn't the DNC, the largest lib venue on the planet, THE place for a 'big' rally?  You've got the MSM in your pocket, you'll be getting maximum exposure - more so than the RNC got. Every pundit and talking head is on your side and will prop you and your drones up, no matter how bad the showing looks.  This is a win-win all the way around for Obama. The stars have aligned.  Pigs are flying.  Hell is freezing over.

But it's painfully clear, even to Obama's team, that Obama is no longer a mysterious orator that preaches hope and change and big ideas. We've gotten to know him these past 4 years and we're not liking what we're seeing.  Some of his cabinet won't even be there. Senators and Congressmen/women that are up for reelection this year are shying away from his endorsement. He's begging supporters for money in emails. His ratings are tanking. He's even given himself an incomplete on the economy.

The old adage is true: Fool us once, shame on you.  Fool us twice, shame on us.  And we won't be fooled again.
