In response to rising health insurance costs and the looming disaster of Obamacare ....

Some doctors are moving toward a cash-only business model, although it does include credit and debit card usage by patients along with some other interesting details to save clients money, while providing higher quality primary care for their patients.  One important point to be made is that these co-op type medical models do require patients to buy low cost high deductiblecatastrophic health insurance for the rarer high cost procedures that some patients may need.

These cash-only doctors have moved to a membership-based model that allows them to provide higher quality care at much lower costs and they don’t have to deal with insurance companies any longer...

Read all the details of this innovative business model here while remembering that 60 years ago before employer provided health insurance, medical business models were on a cash/credit basis, so this new medical business model is not really all that new.
