President Obama and his malicious minions have managed to
add a new dimension to the definition of what mean spirited political action
comes down to and it’s a sad and
disgusting new dimension.
Make no mistake, the actions to be described below are pure Barack Obama and his Chicago style thug politics, since he has the discretionary power to act otherwise and he, or his minions, chose to act precisely as they have, to add more pain than necessary to Americans trying to cope with the political confrontation between Democrats and Republicans in Washington, D.C..
The latest victims of mean-spirited Barack Obama purposefully making the government shutdown as painful as possible are elderly Americans peacefully living out their golden years on Lake Mead in Nevada. They have been forced out from their private homes by park rangers (video - they've lived there for 40 years) and are prevented from returning until the government shutdown ends ... because their homes sit on federal land.
Can we expect more of this from the Obama administration? I suspect the answer is, "Yes, we can." It just fits the pattern of operation from the thugs in the White House. Will we see all federal land leaseholders removed from those federal lands? It's possible, since they already did it to the most vulnerable among us in our society, senior citizens.
The federal argument to justify its actions revolves on the lease agreement that states leaseholders must have an alternative residence in addition to the federal holding, which is considered a vacation home. Just how convoluted can the thinking of these bureaucrats become to use a clause in the leasehold to evict these senior citizens? It is so patently an abuse of federal power that is unnecessary and has only one purpose. And that purpose it to inflict as much pain as possible to pressure public opinion to turn against Republicans.
Through 17 government shutdowns - no 18, involving 5 different presidents ... and ONLY ONE - Barack Obama, has done his utmost to make the shutdown as painful as possible. And keep in mind that it's been 17 years since the federal government last faced a partial shutdown because Congress and the president couldn't agree on a spending bill.
Obama's legacy will eventually be one of being the smallest minded, petty, petulant and vindictive presidents in our history and that's saying something.

It's not a government shutdown. What we are experiencing is a test of the "emergency shutdown of America proper". And it's a test designed to see how far we will let them go.
