Sec. of Defense, Chuck Hagel, Falls on his Sword for Obama's Failure in the Sgt. Bergdahl Prisoner Swap

By Rob Janicki

We knew Hagel was incompetent as a United States Senator and during his Senate confirmation hearing for Secretary of Defense, Hagel amply demonstrated his ineptitude and incompetence to even lead a Cub Scout Pack.

As the news of the prisoner swap came to light over the weekend, the Obama administration took a victory lap through the end zone, spiking the ball in self congratulations over releasing the top five most dangerous Taliban terrorists in Gitmo for one American Army deserter.

On Monday, Chuck Hagel was questioned in congressional hearings about who made the decision to trade the five Taliban prisoners for Sgt. Bergdahl.  Hagel acknowledged that the decision was ultimately President Obama's, as any such significant decision should be made by the president.

Nov we are seeing Hagel flip flop on that assertion as the whole prisoner swap has raised public ire and condemnation of the Obama administration.  As is usual, the White House has now distanced itself from responsibility for the decision to swap the five Taliban prisoners for Sgt. Bergdahl.  Instead, the White House has come out and indicated that the swap deal decision was really made by Secretary Hagel.

Sec. Hagel was quick to fall on his figurative sword draped in myriad excuses and obfuscations.  Hagel became the "good soldier" by accepting responsibility for a decision that had to have come from President Obama.  No one is claiming that Hagel didn't concur with Obama's decision.  Obviously Hagel agreed with Obama's decision to the prisoner swap as Obama's sycophant.  Hagel follows Obama so closely that I suspect his nose is brown from his efforts.

One question comes to my mind over and over again.  What happened to the long standing advertised United States policy not to negotiate with terrorists?  Instead, we are inundated over and over again with the newly enunciated principle of never leaving an American soldier on the battlefield.  The Obama administration is now doing a quick shuffle on the issue of negotiating with terrorists in an absolutely convoluted and tortured logic that goes like this.  According to the Obama administration, the United States did not negotiate with terrorists.  Instead, the United States negotiated with Qatar, which in turn negotiated with the Taliban in Pakistan.  Apparently this makes it all good and proper.  Only in an Alice in Wonderland scenario would anyone buy this delusion, but that doesn't stop the Obama administration from trying to peddle this tripe.

The Obama administration actually proffered this silly excuse with the expectation that the public would buy it, which it hasn't and shouldn't.  Meanwhile, the incompetent Obama administration marches on filled with "good soldiers" willing to fall on their figurative swords to cover the next Obama administration blunder, which is probably right around the corner based upon past performances.  In conclusion, I think the Bergdahl scandal will hang around for some time to come no matter how liberals try to spin it.  I'm guessing the DNC will try to change the narrative to the shocking demise of House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor, losing the Virginia Republican Party Primary election to retain his House seat in the next congress beginning in January 2015..

Expect Democrats to jump on this fact to declare that the Republican Party is now in complete chaos and in the throes of being overtaken by the radical rightwing Tea Party faction within the Party.  Further expect that Democrats will once again predict the demise of the Republican Party, pretty much like they have predicted the end of the world, as we know it, through global warming.

In the end Democrats won't be any more successful in turning the current political narrative to Republican Party chaos, than they have been in convincing people of global warming as a danger to mankind.  However, that won't stop them from trying.

Bergdahl Admitted "Torture" - Validation or Obama's Justification?

By Elizabeth Nelson

Bergdahl is claiming, or I would put it to you - admitting - that he was kept in a "man-made" box for weeks at a time.  The media is spinning this as Obama's Justification to act to free Bergdahl. However, is this proof of torture and validation of Obama’s need to act or proof of claims Bergdahl converted and consorted with the enemy, as FOX's witness claims he had done, during his Jihad against America?

The Dr is already coming back with, there is nothing physically wrong with him, other than he has bad teeth and gums, typical of someone that has had a change of diet for the last 5 years. So, tortured, I don't think so, he was their valued guest and friend. Let's try him for no less than desertion and treason at most.

Obama - The Taliban Five May Attack us again - Bologna

By Elizabeth Nelson

Remember when Obama, said, "It’s ‘absolutely’ possible that released prisoners may attack us again"

“In terms of potential threats, the release of the Taliban who were being held in Guantanamo was conditioned on the Qataris keeping eyes on them and creating a structure in which we can monitor their activities. We will be keeping eyes on them."

Is there the possibility of some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us?  Absolutely. That’s been true of all the prisoners that were released from Guantanamo - there’s a certain recidivism rate that takes place.

wouldn't be doing it if I thought that it was contrary to American national security, and we have confidence that we will be in a position to go after them if in fact they are engaging in activities that threaten our defenses.

But this is what happens at the end of wars.

That was true for George Washington that was true for Abraham Lincoln that was true for FDR. That’s been true of every combat situation. That at some point, you make sure that you try to get your folks back ...and that’s the right thing to do.”

All this phony on-again-off-again American Patriotism, from a Kenyan occupying president slays me. This idiot really believes that he can just release the five most dangerous men in the world, back into the world and if they happen to fall into that "recidivism rate" and relapse into the terrorism that they wear like an old shoe, he'll what, hit the "reset button" before they attack us?

So, after one of the Taliban Five has already come out saying they are going to kidnap  more Americans and continue their Jihad against Americans, the reaction at the White House of course isn't saying, “Ooops, we made a mistake and we need to 'go after them,'" but instead, "let’s send idiot Kerry out to defend our know-nothing emperor”:

Kerry strongly defended the decision to recover Bergdahl, amid strong evidence he deserted his post.

Yet, we left our men do die a violent death in Benghazi and continue to leave two Americans, a Marine in Mexico, and a Pastor in Iran, to be beaten and mistreated? What, no “fake patriotism” Gitmo or Federal Prison exchanges for them?

What if Waleed M. Shehri; Satam al Suqami; Wail M. Alshehri; Abdu Aziz;  al Omari Fayez Banihammad, Ahmed al Ghamdi, Hamza al Ghamdi; Mohand al Sherhri; Majed Moqed, Salem al Hazmi and Saeed al Ghamdi (all living 9/11 Hijackers) and Osama Bin Laden (if he were still alive today) were on the list of "to be released" for Bowe Bergdahl, would you still be in favor of the release of these prisoners for a [warrior for Islam] deserter?

We all expect the Republicans to come out with justifiable outrage and this lawless Emperor's action, but when even Diane Feinstein (D-CA) comes out and said, "...I strongly believe that we should have been consulted, that the law should have been followed and I very much regret that that was not the case....

Let me help you liberals with Frankenstein's translation; what she's trying to say here, in case you don't get it, we call people who act outside the law criminals.  Obama took a vow "to protect America from enemies foreign and domestic” not to protect the enemy from America.   However, his willful poor decisions have put our country in danger.

Make no mistake, we will see these men again, when they come back and continue what they started, thanks to this lawless man and his criminal act.

Bergdahl Won't Phone Home

By Kim D.

If Bowe Bergdahl has the slightest clue as to the growing perception of him back home as a traitor/deserter, it's no wonder he would want to postpone his return to face a barrage of questions on his actions five years ago which landed him in captivity. After living with Haqqani for so long and having been tortured and then assimilated into their culture, it's understandable that Bergdahl would have to undergo intense therapy. It does seem odd, however, that he doesn't want to speak with his parents, his biggest champions during this ordeal. Maybe I need to go back to season one of Homeland to gain a better perspective.

Did We Pay a Ransom for Bergdahl's Release?

By Kim D.

In the aftermath of the hasty trade of five of the worst Taliban terrorists held at Guantanamo Bay for one American the Obama administration has called a prisoner of war, questions abound about the legitimacy of this deal and the people who made it. Was Bergdahl a deserter or was he captured? Was his health really in jeopardy, leaving no time to give Congress the required 30-day notice before a prisoner exchange is made? Did Susan Rice flub it again when she claimed Bergdahl served with "honor and distinction?"

Over the weekend, a new question began surfacing: how much did we pay the Haqqanis for Bergdahl's release? Wait a second - Bergdahl was a POW right? Since when is a ransom paid for a prisoner? Things don't quite add up, and the official story coming out of the White House simply isn't passing the smell test.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, details of the high-profile prisoner swap that freed Bowe Bergdahl . . . are not telling the full story, according to a high-level intelligence official involved in efforts to find and rescue the Army sergeant. The Haqqani Network, a terrorist group operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan, freed Bergdahl on Saturday after holding him captive for five years in exchange for the release of five Guantanamo Bay prison inmates.

Freed Taliban Prisoner Vows to Fight Americans Again

By Kim D.

It didn't take long for this prediction to come true. The most logical criticism of the recent prisoner swap deal made to bring Bergdahl home is that the Taliban terrorist "dream team" will return to the battlefield to resume the fight against America. And, according to propaganda flowing out of Pakistan, Noorullah Noori, one of the five released Taliban prisoners, has vowed to do just that.

This new revelation makes Dick Cheney's prediction on Kelly File this past Monday night not so far-fetched and should be sending liberal propagandists back to the drawing board to revise tonight's talking points.

Hillary Says "Don't Blame Me" While Kharzi Fumes over Prisoner Swap

By Kim D.

While many Americans are scratching their heads and wondering if the Obama administration is pure evil or simply moronic, Hillary Clinton is patting herself on the back having been one of the early critics of the recent Taliban prisoner swap deal that we now know has been in the works for over three years.  According to The Daily Beast, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was personally and intensely involved in the debate over swapping five Taliban commanders for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in 2011 and 2012. But she had severe reservations about the potential deal, and demanded stricter conditions for the release of the prisoners than what President Obama settled for last week.

For Clinton the prisoner swap only made sense if it was one piece of a series of events that led to a peace process between the Taliban and the Afghan government.  This apparently is a similar sentiment of Afghan President Kharzi who was intentionally left out of the prisoner swap deal and is reportedly outraged.

White House apologizes for an "Oops!" moment in failing to advise Senate Intel Committee

By Rob Janicki

The White House, in conducting a prisoner exchange of the five highest risk Taliban prisoners for one American soldier in Taliban custody in Afghanistan, is coming up against a violation of law.

Was this an "oversight"?  Only an idiot would believe that excuse from the Obama White House.
The White House has a complete staff of advisers to make certain that there are no "Oops!" moments.  Is it logical or reasonable to believe that the entire White House staff of advisers could have had a singular moment of mass amnesia in forgetting the law that demands the White House inform Congress of such prisoner releases from Gitmo Bay incarceration no less than 30 days from the anticipated change in status of any Gitmo terrorists?
There are no exceptions written in the law.  There is no wiggle room for the President to use the excuse of "time is of the essence." Obama has clearly overstepped his authority in an illegal act.  Mark this up on the wall with all the other illegal acts Obama has engaged in.  Be prepared for many more similar instances.
If Republicans manage to capture the Senate with a significant majority beginning in January 2015, they should consider impeachment proceedings.  By then America will have sustained even more financial hardship from Obamacare and all the other Executive Orders and EPA regulations that Obama has managed to essentially incorporate as if these actions were actually law.
What the White House has done in the instant case of releasing five Taliban terrorists could easily be construed as a standalone, impeachable offense for President Obama. Let's remember that there are no Constitutional or statutory conditions that have to be met for the House of Representatives to bring charges of "high crimes and misdemeanors" against a sitting president.
It is all dependent upon the process for the House and the Senate to determine what constitutes an impeachable offense.  Basically, anything that a president does that challenges the oath of office to protect and defend the American people and the states of the United States is grounds for bringing charges of impeachment.
Again, there is no specific law or laws that outline specific crimes that would constitute "high crimes and misdemeanors" as stated in the Constitution.  It is totally dependent upon the entire Congress to determine whether a president has violated his oath of office.

Delusional Harry Reid Championing Deal to Bring Bergdahl Home

By Kim D.

The Obama deal to trade five top Taliban terrorists for one American held captive for five years in Afghanistan appears to be getting worse. Each day new information comes to light that is quickly proving what a horrible decision this administration has made. Whether this hasty move was to take attention away from the VA Scandal or to escalate an Obama 2008 campaign promise to close Guantanamo Bay, newly released video on the trade shows that Bergdahl is physically healthy and not in the jeopardy Chuck Hagel claimed on Sunday news shows.

So, it's natural that Democrats would begin screaming and running in the opposite direction. Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein is blatantly calling the trade illegal, claiming the administration violated the law by failing to address serious concerns they had about the deal to swap Bergdahl for five Taliban detainees.  Feinstein said, "It comes to us with some surprise and dismay that the transfers went ahead with no consultation, totally not following law . . . and in an issue with this kind of concern to a committee that bears the oversight responsibility, I think you can see that we're very dismayed about it ."

Well - not all Democrats are dismayed.  Harry Reid is twittering away about what a great deal this was. Really Harry?
Well, Harry, when that man or woman dishonors the uniform and deliberately walks away from his or her post in search of the enemy, should America still offer its uncompromising support?

Presented with all the facts, I wonder how many Republicans wanted Obama to trade the top five "dream team" Taliban terrorists for one American deserter? Hmmmm - keep the propaganda coming Harry.

Is this kind of like, we pass terrible legislation (Obamacare) and read it later?

Team Leader Gives His Account of the Night Bergdahl Disappeared

By Kim D.

It sounds like many of Bergdahl's platoon mates have the same memory of that night five years ago in Afghanistan.  CNN's Jake Tapper interviewed Bergdahl's former team leader, Army Sgt. Evan Buetow, showing yet another veteran firmly believing this was a blatant case of desertion.

State Department Flunky Knows Better than Bergdahl's Platoon? I Doubt it

By Kim D.

Shortly after Bowe Bergdahl's release was announced, one of his former platoon mates Cody Full (@CodyFNfootball) began unleashing his account of what happened in Afghanistan on Twitter.

As Cody Full tweets his memory of this event, he flashes back to when he first met Bergdahl and gives some interesting impressions.

As his story continues, Full addresses some of the issues being used as sympathy for why Bergdahl became disillusioned with his post in Afghanistan and his behavior prior to the night he deserted.

Full's memory seems quite clear about what happened after Bergdahl went missing.

At the end of Cody Full's account of Bergdahl's desertion, he tweets:

Sounds pretty legit, right? Lending more credence to Cody Full's story, Megyn Kelly interviewed him and another platoon mate on Kelly File Monday night. However, on Tuesday, an Obama flunky from the State Department claimed Bergdahl's fellow platoon mates were not reliable sources, basically calling them liars.

I don't know who this chick is (and it doesn't really matter), but I'm taking the word of an honorable veteran who was serving in Afghanistan five years ago when Bergdahl decided he was disgusted with America and wanted to switch to the Taliban team.

Donald Trump "Bergdahl - Terrorist Prisoner Exchange is a Terrible Deal"

By Elizabeth Nelson

Bergdahl is no hero, the war on terror has new renewed life, and Donald Trump is weighing in on the subject.  Through this whole experience, I can't help but remember 9/11 and those two planes as they crashed into tower one and then tower two. We were so angry and then so sad. What a waste of life, it didn't have to happen. Islamic Terrorist opened our eyes and brought the war to our soil. Yet how quickly we have forgotten who the enemy is, and how much they not only hate us, but want to annihilate us.

Complacency kills, don't turn a blind eye, friend, five of their most efficient soldiers and killing machines are free once more, thanks to Obama and the Bergdahls. As patriotic Americans, it's by our nature, when we see the words "American," "POW" and "Homecoming" we get all warm and fuzzy and are quick to throw out words like Patriot and Hero, and usually for good reason, but what if I threw this quote at you, would you still be quick to toss around those words so freely?

“I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.” Oh, wait, it gets better.

Americans who love their country, to me are Americans and Patriots, but Americans who desert their country are traitors and enemies of the state.  We don't continue calling men who turn into women men, right?  This man was a traitor to his country long before six men gave their lives to try to save him and the Taliban welcomed him into their camp and called him one of their own, and then made a deal with the devil, to free five of the most dangerous men we have ever seen, and will see again, when they come to seek their revenge.

It has already been speculated by some in this administration that Bowe Bergdahl won't receive a day of punishment for going AWOL or being the cause of six men dying. I do not believe that he was a prisoner of the Taliban, their prisoners wear the bruises, and are skin and bones, but rather he was their special guest.

He and his father are Muslims. His father was allowed to disrespect America, calling for all the prisoners of Gitmo to be released, which would continue to put more soldiers and American lives at risk and then added insult to injury by praising Allah in the Rose Garden; the god that hates America and her people.

These people are enemies to America. Yet, these are the people that will be invited to the White House and probably have a banquet in his honor. This is a slap in the face of every one of our troops. Bowe’s actions, in time will prove who he is; time always tells all, his father has already proven to be an ass. What more proof does the rest of the country need to prove that Obama is a Muslim and is deliberately destroying our country in every way possible and putting our Country’s very security at risk?

Even Donald Trump weighed in on the "now we negotiate with terrorists," Bergdahl - Terrorist Prisoner Exchange. This is a man that knows a lot about business deals and human nature, and he’s seen it all and Trump said Monday that the “terrible” deal for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl puts other American soldiers in harm’s way.
