Breaking: Ted Cruz Has Lost the Vampire Vote!

HBO's True Blood, the vampire series, likes to get down and dirty with pop culture and has taken political anti-conservative, anti-Christian slaps before, but last Sunday's episode blowback from its intended victim, Ted Cruz, came back with a huge bite. 

To set the scene, vampires Eric and Pam (played by Alexander Skarsgård and Kristin Bauer van Straten, respectively) go undercover at a Ted Cruz fundraising event thrown at the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas. They dress as wealthy Texan stereotypes in order to blend in with the conservative crowd. "Of all the horrible things I've seen in the last hundred years, this could be the most disturbing," Pam says to Eric. The episode may have also coined the derogatory term, “Republicunt."

On his Facebook account, Ted Cruz gave an epic response proving that he is the one viable, conservative 2016 candidate who knows how to fight the culture war which has become so prominent in politics:  Of all the places I never thought to be mentioned, HBO's True Blood vampire show would have to be near the top of the list. Sunday night, they aired a misogynist and profanity-ridden episode where Texas Republicans are murdered attending a "Ted Cruz fundraiser." Well, I'm sorry to have lost the vampire vote, but am astonished (and amused) that HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends....

Senator Cruz Rips Democrat Bill for Undermining Hobby Lobby Decision

Sens. Patty Murray, D-Wash., and Mark Udall, D-Colo. Introduced a bill that will force all religious companies, regardless of their stand on the “oops we forgot to pull out, “ “advanced birth control” methods, to provide Plan B to their employees. So, Senate Democrats want to force a “fix,” and go around the SCOTUS, and Senator Cruz had some tough words for these DemonRats.

  

Thursday on Capitol Hill, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, had a message for President Obama and Senate Democrats voting to undermine the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision: “If you’re litigating against nuns, you have probably done something wrong.”

Sixty votes were needed to debate the bill, which was sponsored by Sens. Patty Murray, D-Wash.,  and Mark Udall, D-Colo. However, the Senate voted 56 to 43, largely on party lines, in favor of upholding religious freedom of employers. In his prepared speech, Cruz added, “Mr. President, it saddens me that there are not 100 senators here unified, regardless of our faith, standing together protecting the religious liberty rights of everyone.” Watch the video above for his full statement.

So, Hobby Lobby won their case, in Supreme Court, and now the Demonrats want to force American citizens, to go against their faith? Is this America or Russia? No Christian Persecution in ObamaNation, huh? Explain to me how Hobby Lobby agrees with liberal free thinkers, that “a woman’s body is her own” and employers and taxpayers should “stay out of a woman’s bedroom.”

Therefore it should be her responsibility and not her employer’s, if what she wants to put in her body goes against their beliefs, because it surmounts to a chemical spontaneous abortion, as the fertilized egg is not allowed to become what God intended it to be, unlike the regular pills that put the egg to sleep. No ovulation, no pregnancy, and Hobby Lobby was more than willing to provide those numerous forms of BC, in an insurance plan.

 Moral of this story:

Today’s overly-LIBerated woman wants to live as a man does; equal pay for doing the same job at the same hours, and free to have sex with whomever and how many she pleases, with no reproductions or repercussions socially or morally. Well, if women want to play like a man, they should pay like man.

Ted Cruz Joins the Fight to Free Meriam Yehya Ibrahim - Where Are You, President Obama?

At the end of May, Meriam Yehya Ibrahim gave birth while incarcerated in a Sudanese prison. A few days later, rumors claimed she would be set free; however, they were, in reality, just a ruse to mute world outcry over a women being sentenced to death for having Christian beliefs.

According to her sentence pronounced by a Sudanese court, she may soon receive a brutal, 100-lash flogging for adultery – because her marriage to a Christian man was not valid under Islamic law. Gabriel Wani, brother of Daniel Wani, explained what 100 lashes mean. A strong man with a whip doles out the punishment. Male prisoners are stripped before the whipping. Female prisoners start off with clothing, but the brutal lash soon tears them apart, leaving the woman bare-backed as the whip “takes skin” off. After a hundred lashes some die, while others hover “in bad condition” until they are executed.  Should Ibrahim be subjected to this punishment and survive, her death sentence by hanging will then be enforced in approximately two years after her newborn is weaned. 

In hopes to put pressure on the Obama administration to intervene on Ibrahim's behalf, on Thursday, June 12, pro-life Sen. Ted Cruz and leading pro-life groups staged a rally outside the White House. Penny Nance, the president of Concerned Women of America, proclaimed: “Today we are here to talk about Meriam Ibrahim, who is being imprisoned for her faith, specifically because she is a Christian. And not just her, but also her two children, one of which she gave birth to in chains.  As Christian women, we are talking today about Sudan but also pointing to the plight of women around the world. Women of faith are being persecuted and little girls are forced into marriages at very young ages. Meriam shines a light on this corruption and persecution."

Cruz Punches Back at Schumer for Child Porn Comment

Love him or hate him, one thing is for certain: Ted Cruz doesn't let much go without setting the record straight.  This past Tuesday, Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz hit back at what he saw as an unfair accusation from Democratic New York Sen. Chuck Schumer that Cruz would allow child pornography on the grounds that it qualifies as free speech, in a Senate Judiciary hearing.

Cruz has been vocal on the dangers of altering the First Amendment. Schumer's proposal to restrict free speech is in regard to broad campaign finance reform, but, as Cruz points out, once such a precedent has been set it opens the door to further restrictions on First Amendment liberties granted by the Bill of Rights. 

Cruz also went on to debunk three canards he identified as being problematic with the Democrats proposal.

1. This is all about nefarious billionaires [insert a Harry Reid Koch rant here]. Cruz, the excellent lawyer that he is, argues with evidence from non-partisan OpenSecrets.org that the top 16 donors to campaigns in the last 25 years have supported Democratic candidates 100%. By the way, the Koch Brothers are ranked 59th on the top political donor list.
2. Money is not speech. Again Cruz points out that speech has always had a cost from printing the Federalist Papers to mass printing yard signs to distribute for a political campaign to creating a website for campaigning or even blogging purposes.
3. Corporations have no rights. Cruz points out the obvious - the NY Times and the NAACP are corporations just like Koch Industries. Restricting speech will not be selective. 

So, basically why are liberals so upset with the Koch Brothers? Liberals own Hollywood and major media outlets. As Cruz points out, they have the top donors. What are they worried about? The truth may lie in failed progressive ideology and current enacted policy. Liberals have to shut down dissent and suppress support for opposite political beliefs because the liberal/progressive message cannot truly win in a free society [insert more brainwashing here].

Paul, Lee, Cruz & Rubio threaten to filibuster Senate gun control legistlation

Another potential filibuster is looming in Congress and this time, Rand Paul will have more backup.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Thursday joined a group of Republicans threatening to filibuster gun control legislation in the Senate.

“We, the undersigned, intend to oppose any legislation that would infringe on the American people’s constitutional right to bear arms, or on their ability to exercise this right without being subjected to government surveillance,” he wrote in a statement on his website. “The Second Amendment to the Constitution protects citizens’ right to self-defense. It speaks to history’s lesson that government cannot be in all places at all times, and history’s warning about the oppression of a government that tries.”

Earlier this week, GOP Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Mike Lee (Utah), and Ted Cruz (Texas) wrote a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) pledging to “oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions.”

This gun control crap is like a never-ending nightmare. You have law enforcement that refuse to enforce any new federal laws that infringe on the 2nd Amendment and then you have lawmakers that are threatening to fire anyone that doesn't.

The first effort emerged in Texas. Legislation proposed by Dallas Democratic Rep. Yvonne Davis would remove any sheriff or law enforcement officer who refuses to enforce state or federal laws.

What's more, it would remove any elected or appointed law enforcement officer for simply stating or signing any document stating that they will not obey federal orders.

That's a backdoor entrance into quashing free speech, don't you think? Yet another amendment under attack by this lib - it's a twofer.

And if you're not getting fired, your pay is being held up - that's an ironic choice of words. The once great state of Colorado has really gone to hell in a handgun basket.

One of dozens of Colorado sheriffs who oppose several gun control bills working their way through the state legislature claims lawmakers are threatening the salaries of sheriffs to punish them for their position.

“Senate Dems have made it known, ‘Sheriffs, obey or no pay for you,’” said Maketa, one of some 30 state sheriffs who attended public hearings on the gun bills to voice opposition. “The first word that comes to my mind is extortion.”

Preach it, my Constitutional brother.  These guys are upholding their oaths, which is more than we can say of just about any politician today. They get crappy pay, crappy press, and crappy support. Yet, they are taking their oath seriously and believe in upholding the Constitution as their standard - and this is their reward: extortion. Any politician found to be engaging in this type of politics should be investigated toot sweet. They should have to face a fine and/or imprisonment and lose their position.  It's ludicrous to see the depths that politicians, especially the libs, have sunk to on this issue. They are in clear violation of their own oaths to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution when they seek to rewrite our Bill of Rights to push their own twisted agenda. If you want to live in a gun-free society where you don't have any rights, then move to a foreign country. But get your hands off my frickin' rights, whether God-given or those enumerated in the Bill of Rights.

Oh, and Schmo - why don't we ever talk about your 'sudden' resignation after your intern was found dead in your FL office? Seems kind of weird that you file for divorce in Sept 1998, you hire Lori Klausutis in May 1999, she dies in July 2001, and you conveniently remarry in Oct 2001. I thought you said you were resigning from Congress to spend 'more time with your family'? Of particular note was this exchange between you and Don Imus:


Don Imus surprised Scarborough with a question from left field: "You said you had sex with that intern and then you had to kill her." Scarborough, laughing, replied, "Yeah, well what are you gonna do?"

And this between you and Chrissy Matthews:

A few months after Klausutis' death, responding to a question by Chris Matthews about what would happen to an aide left his employ and wrote about him, Scarborough blurted out "I think they'd be in danger."

And there's the Medical Examiner, Dr Michael Berkland, who had his own 'misconduct' issues.

The following day, having performed his autopsy and while waiting for the results of blood tests, Dr. Michael Berkland, the medical examiner, told the press that there was "absolutely no evidence" that Lori was "a victim of 'foul play.'" By July 26, although Berkland had still not received the toxicology results, which he noted would likely play a key role in determining whether Ms. Klausutis had died of natural causes or accidentally, Berkland stated that he had "ruled out homicide." While he said he didn't think that suicide was a likely scenario either, he stated that he was also investigating it as a possibility.


Finally, on August 6, Berkland released the autopsy. Oddly, although the police had originally stated that there were no signs of trauma, Berkland acknowledged that Klausutis had sustained a "scratch and bruise" on her head which had been noted in the original death investigation. His explanation for having lied to the press was to "prevent undue speculation" about the cause of death.

Michael Berkland, it turns out, has a very interesting background himself. Recently relocated to Florida, it is a matter of public record that Dr. Berkland's medical license in the state of Missouri was revoked in 1998 as a result of Berkland reporting false information regarding brain tissue samples in a 1996 autopsy report. Berkland does not deny the charges.

It's also a matter of public record that he was suspended from his position as Medical Examiner in the State of Florida in July, 1999. Repeated requests to Dr. Stephen Nelson, Chairman of the Medical Examiners Commission, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, have failed to verify that Dr. Berkland's suspension was lifted and that his licensure and disciplinary record are clear at the present time. Dr. Nelson was appointed Chairman of the Commission by Governor Jeb Bush.

In answer to your question about Ted Cruz, the answer is simple: He knows more about honesty, integrity, the law, the Constitution, our country's founding principals, and our liberties moreso than all of the drones on MSLSD combined. Its funny that Andrea Mitchell says she carries around a copy of the Constitution - what good is that if you can't read? 

You see, Ted Cruz is a winner, Joe. He has substance. He had character. And he's brilliant, a rising star in the party. You were called that once, weren't you, Joe? And now what are you called? A Schmo. You're irrelevant. And you're right where you belong so that we can keep an eye on you.
